It begins with service

Lesly R Devereaux has served as both a municipal and superior court prosecutor. Her first legal position upon graduation from law school was as a staff attorney with The Legal Aid Society in Manhattan. She has also served as a municipal court judge. For several years Lesly worked as a sole practitioner representing clients in bankruptcy, criminal, civil, real estate and contract proceedings. She has successfully litigated over one hundred non-jury and jury cases. Lesly was honored to receive the General Practitioner Achievement Award from the Essex County Bar Association.

For over 20 years, churches have relied on church attorney, ordained minister and Senior Pastor of three different houses of worship, Lesly Devereaux, Esq. to guide them through every aspect of a church’s legal existence, Lesly Devereaux is a qualified and  experienced wills, trust and estate lawyer who can assist you in the state of New York with your estate planning.

With a strong belief that people who find themselves in legal trouble deserve a second chance has lead Lesly to add to her practice defense of attorney disciplinary cases and to provide expert opinions and advice to attorneys on issues of professional liability.
